Chicken-Men
The chilling Hong Kong urban legend known as the "Chicken-Men" originated during a period when the city faced an influx of mainland refugees and difficult living conditions. According to the tale, many children were allegedly kidnapped and forced into grotesque performances. Their limbs were mutilated, their tongues cut out, and their bodies brutally beaten, with chicken feathers stuck into the open wounds. These emaciated children were then forced to perform every night. Despite the extreme cruelty of the act, the nightly shows reportedly still drew large crowds of paying spectators.
This is an imaginary story.
